Getting started with residential aged care can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming. It is not an easy decision to make, and we’re here to provide you with any guidance and information you need.
The best place to start is to understand how much help is needed. As we grow older we all need help, and that may include assistance with day-to-day tasks, transportation and household jobs. Sometimes, it might involve nursing, physiotherapy and supportive equipment like walking frames. Depending on how much help is needed and your circumstances, the best way to receive help and support can be by living in an aged care home either on a permanent basis or for a short stay. After determining your needs, we recommend seeing if you’re eligible for Australian Government funded aged care services through My Aged Care. This will help with costs, and assist in finding the most suitable service providers for you.
We encourage you to visit our aged care homes to meet our community and get a better understanding of the services we provide.
